Research

I conduct research around sex and relationships. I am especially interested in the role of sexual desire in couple functioning and how couples navigate instances of desire discrepancy in their relationships. In May 2019, I received the Sandra Leiblum student research award for the best manuscript, which was titled “Strategies for mitigating desire discrepancy in long-term relationships”.

I have published several journal articles and presented at national and international conferences. I feel very passionate about helping couples function better in their relationships and want my research to make a difference in the way we approach relationships.
